HELP! Survey frenzy

Hello Friends in Singapore!
I need a little help from all of you. I'm currently working on my Honours Thesis on the subject of Recommend-A-Friend programs and would need 1000+ respondents for this really short survey. Approx 1 min.
You can do it multiple times as well because it works by randomization. Just be sure you don't repeat for the same company/service option. Please help me forward to your friends and family too!
Thank you very much! :) Really appreciate the help!
Have a great day ahead! :D
Cheers,
Jinci

New Collection!

It's Christmas! Well, not exactly. It's still in Nov. BUT... Christmas's around the corner. Isn't it the perfect time to stock up on presents for that special someone or someones? hahaha

At JRareto, you can find a range of gifts below $20 and each unique piece comes with a beautiful jewelry box and handmade packaging. (worth $4) An alcohol swab is also included for sterilization.

This pair of earrings below was sold recently. I packaged it in this nice little small jewelry case and included a hand drawn card.

So let's see some of the new arrivals! or rather, newly made!

This piece of necklace is one of my favourite so far. I think it's rather simple yet sweet and classy. The Swarovski crystal dangling below the rose has a neat bead cap on it. I kind of like the bronze chain too!

This item is currently on sale now on my Etsy shop at

http://www.etsy.com/shop/JRareto

This is also one of my favourite piece in this new collection. The Dusty Pink rose goes well with the clear crystal green and brown beads. Kind of vintage and victorian looking.

This piece below... hmm reminds me of a faerie in a forest. So I named it Forest Delight. Sounds like a cake name right? Makes me feel like eating Black Forest Cake now.

Christmas hat!

Lovely roses studs. My mom loves the pink ones. I told my friend and she said of course moms love the pink ones. Cause they want their daughters to look sweet. lol

Of course, I must cater to people with different tastes! So I made 3 other colour variations.

Turquoise Blue
Cherry Red
Fuchsia Purple
Pastel Pink

These studs are on sale too! :)

The "pink panther" range cause all the roses are pink!

My First Sale! :)

Thank God I made my first sale yesterday! It came so suddenly and surprisingly. I sold the most expensive item in my shop to my brother's friend who came to our house to work on a project. It's like a  miracle happen! Totally didn't expect it. But it's all God's grace.

I still remember how I was quite listless about having no orders from the online platform and I also remember praying to God to lead the way. I told myself not to be so impatient and just take things naturally. To me, having someone buy my items is something I could not imagine. And now, it has happened.

I immediately thought about how worried I am about my thesis and future job. I'm worried about my future. But, many past perfect examples have shown that I only need to trust in Him. There's no need for worries. Simply not necessary.

Without worries, life would be much happier.

And who doesn't want a happier life?

So...Stop worrying and Start trusting!

Over the Moon

YAY I'm over the moon!

I have finally launched my online shop at Etsy.. Dreams do come true. I am actually quite a "3-minute hot" person and hence, I could never imagine myself doing something so concrete. View my listings are like wow. Sense of personal achievement. It doesn't matter so much if there isn't any purchases. But most importantly, it's a place to host my collections. :)

Check it out under the My Collections page!

Cameron Highlands Day 2

The 2nd day of tour was a free and easy one. We did not book any tour with Titiwangsa.

The only issue we had is transportation since we didn't drive there. So how do we get our way around?
After consulting the hotel receptionist, we have the option of hiring a taxi.

Min hours to be hired is 3 hours. Each hour is 20 Rm, so that makes it 60 Rm.

With the taxi, we first travelled to Boh Tea plantation!

Beautiful scenery!

As typical tourists, we took pictures with the signboards.

Tour guide explaining the history of Boh Tea...

Hmm..smells nice. Shower gel made from tea leaves?!

I bought back one pack of this Teacino. Foamy and sweet.

Little cottage outside the exhibition area.

So, after spending half a day... I'm naturally famished. What's new? :P Time to eat some delicious scones and drink Teh at the strategically located cafe. Why strategically located? Cause it presents such a beautiful view of the Boh Tea plantations due to its high elevation.

Imagine...sipping a cup of hot tea and nibbling your scones on a cooling morning. Over looking huge patches of tea plantations..wahhh

The view you get!

After the 1st stop at Boh Tea, it's FREE AND EASY time! We took a cab and travelled to Tanah Rata!  Decided to hunt for this restaurant called KouGen as it has many good reviews online! It is a open kitchen concept restaurant that sells Japanese food.

My oh My. If you do come here. PLEASE. Do not miss trying the FRESHEST california rolls made by them. Take a look. Such vibrant colours and fresh ingredients. I love it! Being the greedy me, I ordered another one after finishing my meal.

After seeing these delicious food, you may wonder, is it expensive? Totally not. It's in fact so affordable for its price that I stuffed myself with so much food during lunch and was too full afterwards. :S haha

Street view at Brinchang. That's where I dyed my hair on impulse. :D

STEAMBOAT again! Nom Nom Nom. I love food.

Who am I and What do I want

In the final year of my studies.

Heard of pre-grad crisis? I'm not experiencing that now thankfully but....I do think a lot about life for me in future. I'm an idealist. By my nature, I think a lot. I often asked rather philosophical questions about life. I have been described as having potential to be an author, writer, counsellor or even a spiritual leader by many personality tests. Well, personality tests can't explain 100% of any individual, so that's why I am currently not aspiring to any of the above occupations.

Have you ever thought deeper about life?

When I was young, I thought that the only place that has jobs is the financial district area. I didn't fathom the thought of people working in the heartlands. I'm not sure why I have such narrow views of job opportunities. And of course, I thought that the only jobs in the world are that of business related. Either you buy "invisible" products, or you buy real products. But now, I see the bigger world.

Yes I study marketing, and I can imagine the job opportunities for marketeers. You simply market the product. But now, I have managed to bridge the gap between the product you see at supermarkets and the product from raw materials. That's where engineers, scientists, researchers etc come into play!

I used to think Science is boring because I don't see the job prospects for it. But now, I think Science is cool. I think more people study Business than Science, so naturally the rarer the cooler.

It's fascinating how people have different perspectives and personality. That's why I think traveling brings about a hard to described kind of feeling and learning. You always get that "WOW" feeling when you step overseas. You see another city, that feels so NEW to you. You'll never get that experience and feeling elsewhere. Similarly, I never imagined myself being able to live away from Singapore. But having done that, I begin to see things in another light.

Every city has a system. The political, infrastructure, jobs opportunities. It's the same. They just take different physical forms.

I feel so intrigued in thoughts.

Yes, I'm an idealist. But I choose to believe I'm also the thinker.

So what does that makes me?

An idealistic thinker?

Cameron Highlands Day 1

After the frightening night, it's time to enjoy!

Let me present to you...beautiful Cameron Highlands!

We booked only the tickets for the bus without any tour, but not to worry because when you are reaching Cameron Highlands, the tour guide will start giving out pamplets to ask you join their tour.

We are given many options for different tours by Titiwangsa, which is the major tour agency in Cameron.

LEISURE TOUR
Price: RM 25.00 per adult
          RM 20.00 per child
Duration of tour: 3-3.5 hours
Time of departure: 930am or 2.30pm daily

This tour brings you to the different attractions around the Equatorial hotel which we stayed in. Good tour for families and elderly as the name suggests, leisure tour. Some attractions would be market square, honey bee centre, sam poh temple, rose centre and butterfly house. However, we are not so interested in visiting these places so we skipped this tour.

NATURE DISCOVERY TOUR
Price: RM 60.00 per adult
          RM 50.00 per child
Duration of tour: 4-4.5 hours
Time of departure: 930am daily

This tour is like those hiking type. You get to visit Mount Brinchang, trek around the mossy forest, visit the famous BOH tea planation. It's a pretty good tour, especially for young people. But since we are only interested in the BOH tea and not the other attractions... no mossy forest, no hiking...just a leisure one will do. So, we didn't book this tour too.

AGRO DELIGHT TOUR
Price: RM 65.00 per adult
          RM 55.00 per child
Duration of tour: 4.5-5 hours
Time of departure: 2.30am daily

We went with this tour! This tour brings us to the cactus farm which has so many different types of cactus. My mom likes plants a lot so I bought back one for her. We also get to go to strawberry farm with self picking of strawberries allowed - the major highlight of our trip.

SUNRISE SPECTACULAR

Price: RM 65.00 per adult
          RM 55.00 per child
Duration of tour: 2.5 hours
Time of departure: 6.00am daily
(Tour fare includes a light breakfast of tea/coffee/milo with pie and strawberry muffin)

We took this tour too. The tour guide was describing how beautiful the sunrise is. You see the colours slowing unfolding. There's red yellow, pink, blue, violet. Wow... a must catch!

In summary, we took 2 of the 4 tours mentioned. The first tour that we went was the AGRO DELIGHT tour that takes place in the afternoon.

This is the organic farm. Those pots are actually the strawberry plants.

Loves chilli? Take THIS challenge. This is the spiciest chilli in the world. The tour guide told us that you can literally die from eating this chilli. Just by licking this chilli, you'll already be fuming hot and feeling sick. One bite of it... you're gone. SO POTENT! For the dare devils, give it a try? :P

Next stop is the CACTUS POINT. Lots of cactus here and some other plants. Pitcher.

I dislike those medusa looking cactus. Give me the creeps. I like those one single round ball with needles type.

Look at this beautiful cactus! It's so symmetrically round. And of course, it's the perfect gift for my mom. Bought it home for just RM 2.

Here comes the major highlight. STRAWBERRY PICKING!
We were brought Kok Lim Strawberry farm to do the picking.
There are many strawberry farms in Cameron, but some farms are better if you wish to pick the strawberries. Some farms have smaller strawberries due to different varieties. The ones at Kok Lim are imported from Holland, which are big, red and juicy. So I assume you are going for big red ones, then definitely Kok Lim!

Another famous farm is the Big Red strawberry farm. They also offer strawberry picking but the strawberries there are much smaller. We were also brought to Big Red for a visit and to purchase their strawberry products.

You have to pay RM 30 for you to enter and pick strawberries. With that sum of money paid, you are allowed to bring home 1/2 kg of the strawberries you picked. If you pick less than 1/2 kg, they will top it up for you. If you pick more, then you pay for the extra.

This is the FRESH vegetables farm.

See! So Fresh.

At the cafe, we can buy fresh salad! Free and easy, pick and choose. The salad also comes with the fresh strawberries. We never knew strawberries taste great with thousand island sauce.

Steamboat dinner at Titiwangsa restaurant was sooooo gd. Perhaps it's the cold weather that makes the food even more delicious. Free flow of vegetables and bee hoon but limited plates of meat.

A funny conversation happened during dinner.
As you know... we had a bus crash which left us with many bruises.

There were 4 eggs available for steamboat so we decided to cook it and bring home to nurse our bruises! HAHAHA

But in the end after we brought it home, we didn't do it. Instead, that became our breakfast as our hotel stay didn't come with free breakfast.

Loves hard boiled eggs!
