Malaysia Church Camp 2013

I am really excited.

I'm going for a bi-annual Church Camp retreat this coming Monday! 4 days 3 nights at Johor.
when people hear that I'm going for a church camp, the first thing that came to their mind was an image like this...

a vast jungle
sleeping in tentage
lots of mosquitoes

Well, the church camp that I'll be going to is a relaxing and 'luxurious' one! And my whole family is going. The hotel has a gym, sauna, swimming pool etc. We get to listen to sermons there, sing songs to worship God and also play games together. The food is going to be great too.

Promise i'll do a detailed sharing with lotsa photos when i'm back. Pls poke me and remind me not to be lazy :P

Why my internet so lag??

Why would you do if your mobile phone can't load any websites at all while you are on the go?

*Click...
Waits for a while.
Waits for 10s.
Waits for 30s.
Ignores it *
Check back.
It still doesn't load... -_-

Check "Enable 3G", Yes, enabled.

yes, i'm still running on 3G not 4G yet, but still... it should load right?
I was living without internet on the go for a couple of days until I found the REASON why. You need to know this. If you're facing the same problem as me...

So I just conducted a random speed test and found that my download speed and upload speed is like 0.00Mbps?! How can this be possible? No wonder I can't load any websites at all...

Then I changed a particular setting... and tried the speedtest again. Tada! Look! There's at least some download speed now! Not fantastic, but at least my websites are loading now. Feeling puzzled? Want to know the KEY? ahaha

The key lies in changing the setting for "Enable LTE". The weird thing is, when I enable LTE on my 3G phone, it can't load any websites at all. ZERO download speed. Isn't LTE supposed to make your websites load faster? Though I'm not using an LTE enabled phone, isn't it an irony that the speed is slower when you enable LTE? Actually there's no speed to talk about at all since it's ZERO. hmmm..

So, I did the same experiment on my friends' Samsung Galaxy S4 with LTE running on 3G network. Differing results obtained.

With "Enable LTE", the speed is faster than without "Enable LTE". Such a mystery... If you could explain why this is happening, please enlighten us!
